The Red and Blue

This story came through the website. We spent almost two years working with the family to faithfully portray this rather incredible woman through the surviving diaries she kept and passed along through her brother. The family’s only request was to change the names as society has not yet accepted same sex relationships. 

There are three surviving diaries that we reviewed and through them, we feel we are able to portray this woman in a story about the American Civil War never heard.
